Fink & Fuchs qualifies for the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023

Fink & Fuchs AG has been awarded the contract to conceptually design and carry out Public Relations and marketing activities for the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023. Fink & Fuchs prevailed over many other agencies in the award procedure managed by the Federal Ministry of Defence.

The Invictus Games 2023 will be held in Düsseldorf. The sports event for injured soldiers was initiated by Prince Harry and held in London for the first time in 2014. One of the main goals of this international competition is to achieve due recognition and appreciation in society for soldiers who have been wounded, injured or fallen ill either mentally or physically.

In addition to the strategic conceptual design and planning of the Public Relations work, the tasks involved in the three-year campaign will include the accompanying cross-media communication before and during the Invictus Games. By addressing specific target audiences, the residents of the greater Düsseldorf area are to be mobilized to act as hosts, supporters and spectators. One focus of the campaign is directed at the idea of the Invictus Games: to address the performance and responsibility of soldiers in society on a nationwide level.

“We are faced with a very large and exciting challenge,” said Alexandra Groß, CEO of Fink & Fuchs. “I am very happy that we will be able to focus on several aspects at once with this important event: The role of soldiers and the topic of respect in our society, the unifying power of sports for rehabilitation and the potential of the region and sports city Düsseldorf.
